what a lovely life update. your reflections on re-starting a relationship with a person, you've had a previous deep connection with, are so interesting! there's so much cultural meaning attached to the concept of "getting back with an ex" that really doesn't do the complexity of each unique situation any justice. your text underlines that incisively. as long as you feel connected to yourself still and this relationship is giving you what you want, need and deserve: absolutely beautiful.
